Music treatment was introduced into China from the western countries in 1980s, starting its development in China. But Music treatment did not get to develop and apply completely in China. There are two reasons for the phenomenon. On the one hand the theories and clinical experience of Music treatment are not consummate; on the other hand it lies in the bottleneck of Music treatment development and traditional thought of Chinese, ignoring the economic function of Music treatment still will be important factor of baffling Music treatment development. So the author wants to analysis the advantage and disadvantage in the development of Music treatment and explore the proper measure from the angle of the economics, by giving the outline of the present condition. In the end the author provide suggestions to the development of Music treatment in China using the theories of economics.
