释义
    in case万一。是连词，引导条件状语从句。也就是说incase后面是一个完整的句子 。in case of的of是介词，介词后面只能带名词性质的词，比如名词、代词等。意思和in case差不多，万一的意思。

    一、意思不同
    1.in case意思：万一，以防
    2.in case of意思：防备； 以防
    二、用法不同
    1.in case用法：可独立使用，表示“万一”，主要用作可数名词。
    例句：
    Many shops along the route have been boarded up in case of trouble.
    沿途很多商店的门窗都用木板封上了，以防不测。
    2.in case of用法：加that从句指“假如……”或“防备”，从句中不用将来时态。
    例句：
    Take an umbrella with you in case of rain.
    带把伞吧，以防下雨。
    三、侧重点不同
    1.in case侧重点：作为一个参照来让人知道或了解的某物或某事。
    2.in case of侧重点：指一个客观存在的事实。
    in case of例句
    1. We have an auxiliary generator in case of power cuts.
    我们有一台万一断电时使用的备用发电机。
    2. In case you need something, please don't hesitate to let me know.
    如果你需要什么东西，请不客气地对我说。
    3. It may rain you'd better take an umbrella (just) in case (it does).
    可能下雨--你最好带把伞, 以防万一（下起来）.
    4. In case that he leaves, please inform me.
    如果他离开, 请通知我。
    5. In case of rain, they can't go.
